NCP leader Baba Siddique shot multiple times and dies in Mumbai Hospital
In a concerning incident at Telangana's Nampally Railway Station, three coaches of the Charminar Express derailed around 9:15 am on Wednesday, resulting in injuries to at least five people. The South Central Railway's chief public relations officer, Rakesh, explained that Nampally is a terminal station, and the train, which was moving at a slow speed, overshot the last point where it should have stopped.
The coaches affected in the derailment are identified as S2, S3, and S6. Those who sustained minor injuries near the doors of the train are currently receiving treatment at the railway hospital. The final destination of the Charminar Express is the Hyderabad Deccan railway station.
Six passengers experienced injuries due to the jerk resulting from the derailment, according to officials. The injured individuals are undergoing treatment at a nearby hospital, as the train had reached Hyderabad from Chennai on Tuesday evening. An inquiry is set to be conducted to determine the cause of the incident, as South Central Railway officials aim to establish the circumstances leading to the overshot and derailment at Nampally Railway Station.
