Chopper makes emergency landing on way to Kedarnath, rotor suffers snag

Pilgrims of lord shiv, heading towards Kedarnath Dham suffered a near-miss situation as the helicopter going from Sersi to the shrine narrowly escaped an accident. The rotor of this helicopter suddenly broke down. Fortunately, a major accident was averted due to the alertness of the pilot.

There were six passengers and pilot on board and are reported safe. Crystal Aviation's chopper left for Kedarnath Dham at 7:30 in the morning with six passengers. The rotor of the helicopter broke down just 100 meters before the helipad in Kedarnath.

However, the pilot managed to land the helicopter on ground. As soon as the information was received, the administration stopped all heli services for some time. An investigating officer has been appointed to investigate the incident.
