Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will visit North Bengal on January 20 and 21, covering Murshidabad, Malda, and Alipurduar districts. Her tour begins on January 20 in Murshidabad, after which she will travel to Malda, arriving in the afternoon. Banerjee will stay overnight at Mahananda Bhavan in Old Malda before participating in official programs on January 21.
On January 21, Banerjee will attend a government event at the Malda District Sports Association ground in English Bazar. During the event, she will inaugurate several completed projects, lay foundation stones for upcoming initiatives, and distribute government benefits to eligible beneficiaries. Preparations are underway at the venue, with inspections being carried out by local officials to ensure smooth execution of the program.
After concluding her engagements in Malda, the Chief Minister will proceed to Alipurduar. There, she will participate in a service delivery program and hold meetings with administrative officials to review ongoing projects and discuss developmental plans for the district. Her visit is expected to address key administrative priorities across the region.
