West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee expressed deep shock over the sudden death of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and NCP leader Ajit Pawar in a plane crash at Baramati on Wednesday morning. Reacting to the incident, Banerjee said the tragic loss had left her stunned and grieving, and extended condolences to Pawar’s family, friends and supporters.
Banerjee said Ajit Pawar, along with his co-passengers, died after a disastrous crash involving a private aircraft while attempting to land at Baramati airport.
