In the wake of the consecration of Ram Lalla in the Ram temple and the subsequent opening of the temple doors for the public, Ayodhya witnessed a massive influx of devotees. Despite the official commencement today, a substantial number of people had already gathered outside the temple since the early morning, eager to witness the historic moment. In the midst of this significant gathering, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath arrived in Ayodhya for the second time within 24 hours. His helicopter touched down at the Ram Katha Park helipad, accompanied by top government officials who also made the trip to Ayodhya.
As of the latest update, approximately 2.5 lakh to 3 lakh devotees have already had darshan of Ramlala in Ayodhya, with an equivalent number patiently waiting for their turn. The local administration, cognizant of the immense turnout, has deployed over eight thousand security personnel to ensure order and safety. Despite the current crowd, authorities have urged devotees not to rush and have suggested visiting Ayodhya for darshan after 10 to 15 days when the crowd is expected to subside. Commissioner Gaurav Dayal and IG Range Praveen Kumar reiterated this appeal, emphasizing the administration's commitment to facilitating a smooth and safe darshan experience for all.
