West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has kickstarted the Sadbhavna rally from Hazra More, leading the procession with representatives from diverse faiths and communities. This rally, named 'Sampreeti Michile,' is aimed at promoting harmony among various religions and communities.
On the day of the Ayodhya Ram Mandir inauguration, Mamata commenced the rally after offering prayers at Kalighat temple and performing aarti. The initiative is scheduled before Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose's birthday on January 23 to emphasize religious harmony.
Mamata Banerjee during her 4km Sampriti Rally from Hazra to Park Circus along with representatives from all faiths and communities is slated to stop at five religious places. After offering prayers at Kalighat Temple, CM will walk to Garcha where she will offer prayers at gurudwara. She will then continue to walk along Ballygunge Phari and Syaed Amir Ali Avenue before stopping at Church of Christ the King at Park Circus Seven Point crossing. Ahead of this, she is slated to offer chadar and flowers to Rahmani Masjid and Bhole Shah Mazar.
