Congress protests in Kolkata over garbage dumping near Maulana Azad’s statue, hunger strike launched | Watch

Congress leaders and workers sat on a hunger strike in front of the statue of India's first Education Minister, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, located in Ward No. 56 at BB Bagan. They said, "We performed a milk bath (milk asnan) but they are dumping garbage here," and described it as part of a conspiracy. They questioned, "Is this how Kolkata will become London?" It should be noted that for the past few days, continuous questions have been raised regarding this issue. After a written complaint from Congress, the Corporation started cleaning the area in front of the statue today.
