Prime Minister Narendra Modi, addressing a public gathering in Barmer, Rajasthan, reiterated his reverence for the Indian Constitution, comparing it to revered religious texts. Accusing the Congress party of resorting to falsehoods during election season, Modi emphasized the sanctity of the Constitution in his speech. He stated, "As far as the Constitution is concerned, take it in writing that even if Baba Saheb Ambedkar himself comes, he cannot abolish the Constitution. Our Constitution is Geeta, Ramayana, Bible, and Quran for us."
Furthermore, PM Modi criticized the opposition alliance, alleging their intention to weaken India's position on the global stage. He highlighted concerns over certain elements of the alliance's manifesto, particularly regarding nuclear disarmament. Modi urged voters to reject Congress, stating they "do not deserve to win even a single seat from Rajasthan." His remarks come amidst his electoral campaigning in Rajasthan, where the BJP faces challenges in constituencies like Barmer and Dausa.
