All borders of the national capital Delhi have been sealed, leading to extensive traffic congestion as farmers from Punjab and Haryana continue their protest for the second day as part of the Delhi Chalo March. Delhi Police has issued a traffic advisory in light of the ongoing situation, as heightened vigilance is observed on all entry-exit points.
The Chilla-Ghazipur border with Uttar Pradesh has also been sealed, with Delhi Police deploying barricades, iron nails, and concrete barricades to prevent entry. Similar stringent measures have been implemented at Singhu border, including barbed wire, cement blocks, and the deployment of various security apparatus. Roads leading to the Tikri border have been closed, with Delhi Police enforcing strict control over vehicular movement, resulting in significant traffic snarls and long waits on both sides of Delhi and Noida.
