Delhi Police took swift action on Saturday following the circulation of a viral video on social media, which depicted individuals setting fire to a barricade of Delhi Police for the sake of creating an Instagram reel. Notably, the same gold-plated Isuzu D Max pickup truck, previously used to block the Paschim Vihar flyover for a similar stunt, featured prominently in this latest video. An individual has been arrested in connection with the incident.
In the video, a social media influencer is seen igniting the Delhi police barricade while posing beside the flashy gold-plated pickup truck, which sported red and blue flashing lights. The footage not only highlights the audacity of the alleged influencer but also raises concerns regarding the misuse of social media platforms for reckless stunts. An FIR has been filed at Nihal Vihar police station, leading to the arrest of the identified individual, with further efforts underway to apprehend other suspects involved in the incident.
