After the grand conclusion of the 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony for Ram Lalla in Ayodhya on Monday, a surge of devotees gathered outside the Ram Temple on Tuesday, as the temple opened its doors to the public. The ceremony, marked by fervent celebrations, witnessed Prime Minister Narendra Modi performing the main rituals alongside select priests.
Despite restricted entry and security measures, thousands of devotees from various states flocked to Ayodhya, hoping to have the earliest 'darshan' of Ram Lalla at his birthplace.
A large crowd gathered on Ram Path on Tuesday morning, causing security personnel to face difficulties in managing them. Some devotees also protested the restrictions imposed by the security team, hindering their movement forward. People broke security barricades in an attempt to enter the temple.
Devotees gathered in large numbers since 3 a.m on Tuesday to offer prayers and have Darshan of Shri Ram Lalla on the first morning after the Pran Pratishtha ceremony. With the crowd going out of proportion, authorities had to keep the gates shut for Darshan at 9:30 am on Tuesday.
