Ticket prices for the upcoming film Dhurandhar: The Revenge have surged sharply ahead of its release, with premium seats in major cities touching record levels. In Mumbai, recliner seats for the film’s paid preview shows have reached ₹3100, while similar tickets in Delhi have been priced at around ₹2400. Despite the steep prices, several preview shows are already sold out.
The film, starring Ranveer Singh, will begin paid preview screenings on March 18 evening, a day before its official theatrical release on March 19. Multiplexes across major cities have scheduled multiple preview shows, with many screenings starting around 4–5 PM.
Across India, ticket prices for the film have been significantly higher than usual. Regular format tickets in multiplexes are reportedly priced between ₹600 and ₹900, while IMAX screenings in some locations have crossed ₹1000. Premium luxury screens with recliner seating have recorded the highest ticket prices.
The strong demand has also driven advance booking figures. The film has already sold nearly three lakh tickets across India days before the preview shows, generating over ₹15 crore in early ticket sales and setting a new record for a Bollywood premiere collection.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film features Ranveer Singh reprising his role as an Indian spy. The cast also includes R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Danish Pandor, Rakesh Bedi and Sara Arjun. The first installment was a major box-office success, grossing ₹1300 crore worldwide.
