'Dictatorship Won't Be Tolerated': Protesters detained post-LS breach

In the aftermath of the security breach in Lok Sabha, where two individuals disrupted proceedings by throwing smoke canisters emitting yellow fluorescent gas, a separate incident unfolded outside Parliament. Police detained two protesters, a 42-year-old woman identified as Neelam and a 25-year-old man identified as Amol Shinde, who were protesting with color smoke in front of Transport Bhawan. The incident occurred at 1 p.m. during the Zero Hour of the House while Rajendra Agarwal was chairing the House.

The detained woman, Neelam, was fervently raising slogans against dictatorship and crimes against women even as she was taken into custody by the police.

The woman protester was seen raising slogans, " Dictatorship, Crime Against Women Won't Be Tolerated" even as she was whisked away by cops.

MP Danish Ali revealed that one of the individuals was identified as Sagar, a guest of Mysuru BJP MP Pratap Simha. Following the commotion caused by the Lok Sabha breach, the House was adjourned until 2 p.m., and security officials apprehended the intruders as they climbed towards the Chair.

It is noteworthy that the security lapse occurred on the 22nd anniversary of the 2001 Parliament Attack. Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with several parliamentarians, paid tributes to the security personnel who lost their lives in the tragic 2001 incident.
