As the nation anticipates the inauguration of the Ram Temple, West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee has announced a 'Sadbhavna Rally' on January 22, aimed at fostering unity among people of all religions. Coinciding with the consecration ceremony of Ramlala, the TMC plans to organize 'Sarva Dharma rallies' at the block level across the state, emphasizing the theme 'All religions are equal.'
The announcement has drawn criticism from senior BJP leader Dilip Ghosh, who, during a morning walk in Eco Park, condemned Mamata's initiative. Dilip Ghosh fiercely attacked Mamata's 'Sadbhavna Rally' and said "People who have always worked against national unity are taking out solidarity and goodwill marches. What could be a bigger irony than this?"
He alleged that Mamata Banerjee's opposition to development initiatives, including the refusal to allocate land for 60 stalled railway projects in West Bengal, reflects a lack of unity and harmony in her political approach.
