DJs swap turntables for Cricket bats in Kolkata's DCL finals, winners announced

In a unique twist to the usual DJ performances, Kolkata witnessed the fifth edition of the DJ Cricket League (DCL) on Sunday morning. Approximately 60 DJs gathered at The Spring Club to showcase their cricketing skills. The league featured six teams, all of which successfully navigated through the rounds, ultimately leading to a thrilling finale. The semi-finalists were RR Remote Warriors and Grid Riders, with RR Remote Warriors emerging victorious.

The participants of the winning team received medals and sound systems as rewards, along with trophies for Best Bowler, Best Batsman, Best Wicketkeeper, and Man of the Series. DJ Akash Rohira expressed his excitement about the event and said "that it was a very exciting atmosphere and the team that performed well has won. Here the enthusiasm of the DJ was visible since morning."

Grid Riders' Vice Captain, Uttam Kumar Gupta, acknowledged minor mistake that contributed to their loss and said "there can be only one winner team". He further emphasized the valuable experience gained by participating in the game. 

Dippy Bindra, captain of the winning team RR Remote Warriors, celebrated his team's second consecutive victory, praising the players outstanding performance.
