Drawing teacher brutally beaten on street over student's harassment allegations in Howrah

A drawing teacher, Tapas Mandal, was beaten on the street in Howrah’s Chaudhary Bagan area after harassment allegations. Local women attacked him before Howrah Police arrived and rescued him. Police took Mandal into custody and began questioning him. Statements from the victim and witnesses are being recorded, and investigations are ongoing.
