Vandalism in Howrah over controversial painting during Durga Puja; 30 arrested
A 33-year-old man, identified as Randheer Singh from Sikar district, Rajasthan, was arrested for allegedly misbehaving with an air hostess on an IndiGo flight from Jaipur to Bengaluru on Friday evening. The incident occurred on flight 6E556, and Singh, reportedly under the influence of alcohol, was released on bail following his arrest.
According to IndiGo official Varun Kumar, Singh, a resident of Malikpur village in Sikar, exhibited inappropriate behavior by persistently holding the air hostess's hand despite warnings. The disruptive conduct was observed by fellow passengers who promptly alerted the flight crew. In response, the flight captain designated Singh as a disruptive passenger.
Upon landing at Bengaluru airport, the cabin crew filed a complaint, and Varun Kumar officially reported the incident to the airport police on Saturday. Subsequently, Singh was arrested on Sunday.
