Serious allegations of sexual harassment have surfaced against the headmaster of a high school in Tamluk, East Medinipur. Several girl students claimed that the headmaster had been harassing them for months, calling them alone and engaging in obscene acts.
The matter came to light when multiple students confided in their families. Shocked and angered, the parents reached the school and demanded an explanation from the headmaster. However, his inability to give a clear answer only fueled tensions.
Eyewitnesses said that in a fit of outrage, the parents and locals made the headmaster sit on the ground outside the school. The protesting girl students surrounded him, demanding strict action.
Soon after, the local councillor and police from Tamluk police station arrived to control the situation. The police have taken the matter under investigation, while the students and parents continue to demand justice.
