Eastern Railways regulates few trains due to traffic block in Sealdah station: check details

Indian Railways has cancelled a few trains due to a traffic block in the Sealdah division. Apart from this, a few trains have also been diverted/short-terminated.

“There will be track maintenance work at Sealdah station. Due to which there will be 10 hours (from 10:20 pm of April 8, 2023, to 08:20 am of April 9, 2023) traffic block,” said an official of Eastern. He pointed out that consequently a few trains will be cancelled and short-terminated on April 8, 2023, and April 9, 2023.

Cancellation of EMU Locals April 8, 2023

1 pair each of Sealdah – Naihati, Sealdah – Bangaon Local and 1 Sealdah – Krishnanagar Local will remain cancelled.

Cancellation of EMU Locals April 9, 2023

Three pairs of Sealdah – Ranaghat Local.

Two pairs each of Sealdah – Bangaon, Sealdah – Habra, Sealdah – Dankuni, Sealdah – Kalyani Simanta, Sealdah – Barrackpore Local.

One pair each of Sealdah – Dattapukur, Sealdah – Hasnabad, Sealdah – Naihati, Sealdah – Shantipur, Sealdah – Gede Local.

One local train – Krishnanagar – Sealdah Local.

Diversion

12378 Padatik Express and 12988 Ajmer – Sealdah Express (both journeys commencing on April 7, 2023) will be diverted to Kolkata Terminal instead of Sealdah.

12377 Padatik Express and 12987 Sealdah – Ajmer Express (both journeys commencing on April 08, 2023) will depart from Kolkata Terminal instead of Sealdah. Reschedule 13154 Gour Express (journey commencing on April 8, 2023) will leave Malda Town at 01:45 am of April 9, 2023, instead of 9:45 pm on April 8, 2023.

12344 Darjeeling Mail (journey commencing on April 8, 2023) will leave Haldibari at 9:15 pm instead of 6:15 pm.

12378 Padatik Express (journey commencing on April 8, 2023) will leave Alipurduar at 7:40 pm instead of 5:40 pm.

13173 Kanchanjungha Express (journey commencing on April 9, 2023) will leave Sealdah at 08:25 am instead of 06:35 am.

05422 Balurghat – Malda Town Passenger (link train of 13154 Malda Town – Sealdah Gour Express) journey commencing on April 8, 2023, will leave Balurghat at 10:30 pm instead of 6:30 pm.

“Inconvenience to be caused to the passengers is deeply regretted,” said the official.
