ED raids absconding TMC leader's residence after 19 days

The ED, after 19 days, resumed its probe into TMC leader Sheikh Shajahan, conducting a search operation at his residence
The central forces, comprising about 100 CRPF jawans, surrounded Sheikh Shah Jahan's house to ensure security during the ED's search operation
Sajahan is currently absconding

After a hiatus of 19 days, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) resumed its investigation into Trinamool Congress leader Sheikh Shah Jahan. The ED, accompanied by central forces, surrounded Shah Jahan's residence, deploying around 100 CRPF jawans for security. The search operation was conducted, and the authorities signed two witnesses before commencing the warrant search at the Trinamool leader's house. The state police, seeking transparency, examined the search warrant before allowing the ED to proceed with the search at Shah Jahan's residence.

Sajahan is currently absconding.
