The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has initiated search operations in six locations across Kolkata as part of the ongoing investigation into the teacher recruitment corruption case. In a significant move, the ED has raided the house of Parth Chatterjee's relatives, including the residence of a chartered accountant close to Chatterjee, the house of a part-time teacher, and the house and office of businessman Mahendra Agarwal.

Six teams of the ED are meticulously searching these locations, focusing on gathering evidence related to the alleged corruption in teacher recruitment. The investigation, which involves Parth Chatterjee's associates, is particularly targeting Mahendra Agarwal, with sources indicating that he played a role in the money laundering associated with the corruption.

ED sources have revealed that key documents relevant to the corruption case have already been seized during the raids. Mahendra Agarwal is believed to have connections with several influential individuals linked to the corruption scandal, making the investigation crucial in uncovering the depth of the malpractice.
