The Enforcement Directorate has issued a summons to Shantanu Sinha Biswas in connection with an ongoing investigation. Biswas currently serves as Deputy Commissioner of the Special Branch of the Kolkata Police.
According to official information, the officer has been asked to appear before the central agency for questioning as part of the probe being conducted under financial crime and money-laundering provisions. The summons requires him to present himself before investigators and provide details relevant to the case. The Enforcement Directorate is continuing its investigation to gather information and examine possible links related to the matter. Officials said the questioning is part of the agency’s efforts to collect evidence and clarify certain aspects linked to the inquiry.
