Eknath Shinde extends warm welcome as Milind Deora joins Shiv Sena

Former Union Minister Milind Deora, breaking ties with the Congress after 55 years, officially joins Shiv Sena, with party leader Eknath Shinde expressing a warm welcome.In a significant political move, Milind Deora, disenchanted with the Congress over seat-sharing discussions, announces his departure just before the launch of Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra.

Following this, Deora joins Shiv Sena, led by Eknath Shinde. Shinde, while initially unaware of the developments, extends a hearty welcome to Deora and several other Congress leaders joining the Shiv Sena fold. The move is seen as a notable setback for the Congress party.

"Today marks the conclusion of a significant chapter in my political journey. I have tendered my resignation from the primary membership of @INCIndia, ending my family’s 55-year relationship with the party. I am grateful to all leaders, colleagues & karyakartas for their unwavering support over the years," Milind Deora tweeted.
