Full state honors for Ratan Tata, one day mourning announced in Maharashtra
YouTuber Elvish Yadav, recently questioned by Noida police on November 8, reportedly disclosed that the two snakes featured in his music video were arranged by Bollywood singer Fazilpuria, as per sources quoted by NDTV. The revelation comes amid an ongoing investigation initiated earlier this month when the police arrested five individuals and seized multiple snakes based on a sting operation by the People For Animals NGO. One of the arrested individuals alleged that the snakes were intended for a party hosted by Elvish Yadav.
The police have questioned the 26-year-old YouTuber twice, booking him and five others under the Wildlife (Protection) Act and Section 120A (criminal conspiracy) of the Indian Penal Code. The snakes recovered, including cobras and pythons, are protected under Schedule 1 of the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972.
Yadav, who denies involvement, clarified that he outsourced the arrangement of reptiles for the music video to a production house, distancing himself from allegations of providing snake venom for recreational use.
