Fake examinee nabbed during Government job Exam in Bidhannagar, Identity swap detected

A case of fraudulent examination attempt emerged during a government job exam when an individual posing as an examinee was apprehended. The incident occurred within the jurisdiction of Bidhannagar Electronics Complex police station. The arrested suspect, identified as Abhinav Kumar from Uttar Pradesh, was produced before the Bidhannagar sub-divisional court on Saturday. The court ordered his remand in police custody for further questioning.

According to law enforcement sources, the incident transpired during the examination for the post of Social Security Assistant at the Employees' Provident Fund Organization. The examination took place in Salt Lake Sector V on a recent Friday. As part of the entry process to the examination center, police personnel were scrutinizing documents when they noticed a discrepancy. Abhinav Kumar's photo on the admit card had been fraudulently replaced with the photo of the actual candidate, Mohit Kumar.

Promptly responding to the situation, the police took Abhinav Kumar into custody for interrogation. Upon uncovering inconsistencies in his responses, the local authorities alerted the Bidhannagar Electronics Complex police station. The police arrived at the scene and subsequently arrested Abhinav Kumar. Further investigation is underway to ascertain the extent of the fraudulent attempt and any potential accomplices involved in the scheme.
