Tragedy struck on the Bahadurganj-Kishanganj State Highway near Moharmari village late last night as a collision between a bike and a car resulted in the death of two individuals, one of whom was a teenager. The victims have been identified as Mohammad Azad (16) and Mohan Kumar (22), while Arjun Singh (25) sustained injuries and is currently receiving medical treatment.
The car involved was headed from Bahadurganj to Kishanganj, while the motorcycle was traveling in the opposite direction. The collision occurred on the highway, leading to the immediate death of the two bike riders.
Preliminary information indicates that the fatal incident transpired when the car and the bike collided on the highway. The impact claimed the lives of Mohammad Azad and Mohan Kumar, who were on the bike, while Arjun Singh, standing by the roadside, suffered injuries.
The driver of the car fled the scene following the collision. Both vehicles have been seized by the Kochadhaman police station, which has initiated an investigation into the incident.
