Vandalism in Howrah over controversial painting during Durga Puja; 30 arrested
An FIR has been filed against the operator of an unauthorized drone that captured Munawar Faruqui's victory celebration in Mumbai's Dongri following his win in Bigg Boss 17. The First Information Report (FIR) was lodged against Arbaaz Yusuf Khan (26), identified as Munawar's fan, who operated the drone without the necessary permissions during the exuberant celebration. Constable Nitin Shinde, on patrol with PSI Tausif Mulla, noticed the unauthorized drone usage and informed the police station. The drone camera was subsequently confiscated by the police.
The FIR has been filed under the violation of Mumbai Police Commissioner's orders, requiring prior permission for drone usage. The Mumbai Police had previously imposed a ban on flying objects, including drone cameras, with exceptions only for aerial surveillance by law enforcement or specific written permission from the deputy commissioner of police. The case against Arbaaz Yusuf Khan highlights the enforcement of these regulations during Munawar Faruqui's victory celebration in Dongri.
Meanwhile, Munawar's celebration in the crowded streets involved the comedian standing on the sunroof of his car, showcasing his Bigg Boss 17 trophy to the enthusiastic crowd. He expressed gratitude to his fans for their support and thanked Salman Khan, the host of Bigg Boss 17, for guidance in a social media post.
