Panic struck patients and their families as a fire erupted at Niloufer Hospital in Hyderabad on Wednesday, February 7. Multiple videos capturing the incident's aftermath, with smoke billowing from the hospital, circulated on social media. The fire originated from a refrigerator in a laboratory, spreading to nearby rubber supplies, generating substantial smoke.
Fortunately, the hospital's fire control system efficiently contained the blaze, preventing injuries to any patients. Nampally MLA and AIMIM leader Mohammed Majid Hussain, who also serves as the Chairman of Niloufer Hospital, reassured the public that the situation was under control, emphasizing that no patients were harmed.
