A fire erupted at the physiotherapy unit of Metro Hospital in Sector-11, Noida, on Wednesday, prompting a swift response from both hospital staff and the fire department. Fortunately, the blaze was brought under control quickly, with authorities confirming that no injuries or casualties were reported during the incident. The affected unit, located separately from the main hospital building on the ground floor, ensured that smoke did not enter the main premises, eliminating the need to evacuate or shift any patients.
Upon receiving the information, three fire service units were immediately dispatched to the site, working in coordination with the Metro Hospital staff. Hospital personnel acted promptly in their initial efforts to control the flames, which helped prevent the fire from spreading to other sections of the facility. The Chief Fire Officer of Gautam Budh Nagar, Pradeep Kumar, highlighted the strategic location of the physiotherapy unit as a key factor in containing the impact of the fire.
