A massive fire broke out in the basement of Rajasthan Hospital in Gujarat’s Ahmedabad in the Sahibaug area on Sunday. Soon the fire spread, as many as 100 patients were evacuated from the premises to ensure their safety.
According to the initial reports, the fire started at around 4:30 in the basement as per reports quoting an official from Sahibaug police station. A charitable trust runs the hospital
Fire fighting teams are working to control the blaze. Smoke continues to emerge from the basement of the hospital where the fire broke out,” said police inspector MD Champavat.
The exact cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
