A destructive fire erupted at a jute factory in Liluah, with flames engulfing the premises during operational hours this afternoon. The factory, primarily engaged in the production of pitch chut, experienced rapid spread of the fire due to the presence of highly flammable stock materials.

Firefighters dispatched four fire engines to the scene upon receiving the alert, engaging in an hour-long battle to contain the blaze. As investigations into the cause of the fire commence, authorities have yet to report any casualties arising from the incident.
