Full state honors for Ratan Tata, one day mourning announced in Maharashtra
The first look poster of the upcoming Telugu film, "Mr Bachchan," featuring actor Ravi Teja, was unveiled by the makers on Sunday, stirring excitement on social media. Directed by Harish Shankar, the film marks the third collaboration between the actor and director, who previously worked together on "Shock" and "Mirapakay."
In the poster, Ravi Teja is seen donning a long mustache and a hairstyle reminiscent of Amitabh Bachchan's iconic look from the 70s and 80s. Seated on a two-wheeler, the actor exudes a serious demeanor, with the poster featuring an abstract caricature of Amitabh Bachchan and a cinema hall backdrop. The line "Naam Tho Suna Hoga" from Amitabh's famous dialogues is prominently displayed.
Ravi Teja, a self-proclaimed fan of Amitabh Bachchan, shared the poster on social media, expressing his honor in portraying a character named after his favorite actor. Twitter erupted with praises, with fans hailing him as a 'real fanboy' of Amitabh Bachchan.
The film is set for a 2024 release and will introduce Bhagyashri Borse, known for her role in "Yaariyan 2," in her Telugu film debut. The project is produced by TG Vishwa Prasad, with Vivek Kuchibhotla serving as the co-producer, and features music by Mickey J Meyer.
