First-of-its-Kind Marwari Education Conclave Honours Toppers in Grand Style

The ballroom of ITC Sonar transformed into a hub of inspiration and intellect as the Marwari Education Conclave successfully brought together top academic achievers, industry stalwarts, and eminent guests for an extraordinary evening of recognition, reflection, and interaction.

Jointly organised by the Paschim Bangiya Marwari Sammelan Shiksha Kosh and Taaza TV, the event was the brainchild of Taaza Foundation, with active support from the West Bengal Provincial Marwari Federation. The conclave celebrated the top 30 Marwari students from Class 10 and 12 boards who scored 99%+ in the 2025 CBSE and ICSE examinations.

The evening was graced by an illustrious guest list including:

The Conclave witnessed the active participation of Shri Brahmanand Agarwal (President), Shri Shyam Agarwal (Convenor), and Shri Manish Bajaj (Secretary) of Shiksha Kosh, whose relentless support ensured the seamless execution of the event.

A Thoughtful Concept for the Marwari Youth

Conceptualised and led by Shri Bishambhar Newar, Chairman of Taaza TV and a long-standing advocate for educational upliftment, the Conclave was designed not only to honour academic toppers, but to provide them a rare platform to engage directly with industry and institutional leaders.

On stage, Shri Newar proudly stated “Out of 80 toppers in Kolkata who scored above 99%, 37 were from the Marwari community. This is a moment of immense pride. Our ancestors laid strong educational foundations, and this event is a humble continuation of that legacy.”

Each guest took the stage not just as a speaker, but as a mentor, sharing powerful, relevant insights:

• Shri Harshavardhan Neotia, in a heartfelt interaction with Class 10 students, encouraged them to embrace failures with grace “Failure is a part of growth. You must learn to fly while keeping your expectations grounded. Real success lies in learning how to rise again.”

• Shri Shishir Bajoria, reflecting on youth leadership, remarked “The brightest minds of our country must actively participate in politics if India is to reach its true potential. Leadership should start from classrooms.”

• Shri Brij Mohan Beriwal shared a simple yet profound thought “It doesn’t matter whether you are in India or abroad—Vidya (knowledge) must be collected from wherever it is found. That is your true asset.”

• Shri Manoj Agarwal, the Chief Electoral Officer of West Bengal, praised the community initiative “It is heartening to see the Marwari community making strides in government services. This conclave is a brilliant step to further inspire excellence.”

• Shri BD Mundhra reminded the young achievers “Beyond marks and careers, strive to be good human beings. That is the foundation of true success.”

• Shri HP Bhudia and Shri RP Pasari offered practical life lessons: “Financial literacy is a must. Learn to make rational financial decisions—not just for your career but for your family’s future.”

Unmatched Format: Toppers in the Spotlight

This wasn't just a felicitation—it was an interactive platform. All 30 toppers were invited on stage to speak, reflect, and answer questions posed by dignitaries. The sharpness, humility, and clarity in their responses left the audience inspired and hopeful.

The standout achievers of the evening, Divyansh Garg and Aarushi Khetawat, received special mention for scoring 99.75%, being titled the “Toppers of Toppers.”

Every student was gifted a 100g silver coin, a gesture of respect and tradition in the Marwari community—courtesy Shri Arun Laddha.

Parents and family members of the toppers were visibly emotional and proud, as their children were honoured in front of Kolkata’s industrial elite.
