Fresh trouble for Abhishek, CID visits his residence in DJ comment case
Five members of a family, including three children, were killed and four others were seriously injured after a car crashed into a roadside tree in Jharkhand's Simdega district on Thursday. The accident occurred at Agharma in the Kolebira area when the driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle while travelling from Ranchi to Simdega.
According to police, a man, a woman and three children died on the spot after the vehicle struck the tree. The four injured occupants were rescued and taken to a hospital in Ranchi for treatment. Officials said the condition of two of the injured persons was critical.
Among those killed were Gulam Mustafa, 58, and his wife Gulshan Ara, 48, both residents of Lohardaga district. The deceased children were identified as Anabya Parveen, 3, daughter of Mihsin Hashmi of Ranchi's Doranda; Aayra Naaz, 18 months, daughter of Arshi Hashmi of Kolebira in Simdega; and Md Arsh Hashmi, 8.
Police said the accident took place in the late afternoon at Agharma under the Kolebira area. Authorities are examining the circumstances that led to the crash while treatment of the injured continues in Ranchi.
