Amidst the electoral buzz, Jharkhand Chief Minister Champai Soren also cast his vote at a polling booth in Jilingora, Saraikela Kharsawan District, emphasizing the significance of citizen participation in the democratic process. As the Lok Sabha elections progress, the Election Commission of India has introduced innovative measures to facilitate voting, including home voting for elderly individuals above 85 years and Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) with a 40 percent benchmark disability, marking a significant step towards inclusive electoral practices.
