Four women labourers die in Birbhum road accident

In a tragic incident at Munsuba intersection of Rampurhat Tarapith Junction in Birbhum district, four women labourers lost their lives and 11 others sustained injuries in a road accident on Tuesday morning. The deceased have been identified as Rasmani Sardar, Leela Late, and Rakhi Sardar, while another woman succumbed to injuries during treatment at Rampurhat Medical College Hospital.

The injured individuals are currently undergoing medical treatment at the same hospital. The accident occurred as a result of poor visibility caused by the cloudy sky and fog-covered road, leading to a truck crushing the motorized van carrying 15 workers who were returning to Madgram after planting paddy.
