French President Emmanuel Macron, the Chief Guest at India's 75th Republic Day celebrations, took a cultural detour by visiting the historic Dargah of Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya in Delhi. Macron, who arrived in India for a two-day visit, spent more than half an hour at the 700-year-old center of Sufi culture, listening to Qawwali.
The visit to Nizamuddin Dargah marked the concluding day of Macron's trip, during which he also participated in the Republic Day parade and witnessed the signing of defense agreements between India and France.
