A gas cylinder explosion in the Nuniyagoda area under Daspur police station in Paschim Medinipur district on Wednesday night has resulted in six labourers sustaining serious injuries, including three minors. The incident occurred while the workers were engaged in silver work at the factory, and the explosion of a gas cylinder took place unexpectedly.
The injured were promptly rushed to Ghatal Department Hospital, where they are currently in critical condition. Authorities from the Daspur police station have initiated an investigation to determine the cause of the accident and the circumstances leading to the gas cylinder blast.
