Industrialist Gautam Adani on Thursday visited the Ram Temple in Ayodhya along with his family, offering prayers on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti. Accompanied by his wife Priti Adani and son Karan Adani, he participated in religious rituals at the temple and sought blessings of Ram Lalla, describing the visit as a deeply emotional and proud moment.
Speaking after the darshan, Adani said the temple represents not just faith but also India’s cultural unity and self-confidence. He emphasised that visiting the birthplace of Lord Ram after the temple’s inauguration in 2024 held special significance for him and his family. The visit coincided with Hanuman Jayanti, adding to the spiritual importance of the occasion.
During his visit, Adani also highlighted the role of traditional institutions like Gurukuls in preserving Indian culture in the modern era. He stated that efforts are being made through the Adani Foundation to promote and sustain cultural heritage, especially at a time when rapid technological advancements, including artificial intelligence, are transforming society.
The Adani family also spent time interacting with students at a Gurukul, where the industrialist reiterated his commitment to supporting initiatives that safeguard India’s traditions. He prayed for the country’s continued progress and prosperity, expressing hope that the blessings of Lord Ram would guide the nation forward.
Adani arrived in Ayodhya earlier in the day and was received by officials associated with the temple trust, who also guided him through the temple complex. The visit forms part of a series of high-profile pilgrimages to the temple following its inauguration, reflecting its growing significance as a major religious and cultural landmark.
