Golden Globes 2025: Full list of winners

The 2025 Golden Globe Awards, held on Sunday night at The Beverly Hilton, honored the best in film and television across 27 categories. Emilia Pérez took center stage, winning Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy and Best Non-English Language Film. The film also garnered recognition with Zoe Saldaña winning Best Supporting Actress for her role, and the song “El Mal” clinching Best Original Song.

In the drama film category, The Brutalist won Best Motion Picture – Drama. Brady Corbet earned Best Director for the film, while Adrien Brody won Best Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama for his standout performance. Flow claimed the Best Animated Film award, marking a significant achievement in the genre. Wicked was recognized with the Cinematic and Box Office Achievement award, highlighting its massive cultural and commercial success.

The night also celebrated outstanding performances in television. Shogun emerged as Best Drama Series, with Anna Sawai and Hiroyuki Sanada winning Best Performance by a Female and Male Actor in a Television Series – Drama, respectively. Hacks took home Best TV Series – Musical or Comedy, with Jean Smart securing Best Actress in a TV Series – Musical or Comedy. In the Limited Series category, Baby Reindeer won Best Limited Series, while Jessica Gunning earned Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Limited Series.

Individual accolades went to a diverse group of actors and filmmakers. Kieran Culkin won Best Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture for A Real Pain, while Ali Wong took home the award for Best Stand-Up Performance on TV for her special Single Lady. Notable other winners included Peter Straughan for Best Screenplay – Motion Picture for Conclave, and Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross for Best Original Score for Challengers.

Viola Davis was presented with the prestigious Cecil B. DeMille Award during the Golden Gala, while Ted Danson received the Carol Burnett Award, both of which were presented in a special ceremony. This year’s Golden Globes saw a diverse group of international journalists as the new voters, marking a fresh chapter for the awards show following the restructuring of its governing body.
