The death of a Rajbansi youth in 'police firing' at midnight triggered fresh tensions. Sitting in Nabanna on Wednesday, the Chief Minister announced strict action by the administration in the matter of 'burning the police station' and 'killing the police' in Kaliaganj.
The Chief Minister said, "I said, those who are guilty, they don't need to see the party, arrest them directly. Told them to attach their property. That's what the ED does. We have also made this law. If they don't If they do, then their hooliganism is not reducing." The family and villagers are angry with the role of the police.
The governor has already called for a report from the police on the basis of the entire situation. As of now, the police have not responded to the Governor's request for a report on the situation.
