Governor CV Anand Bose says won’t remain silent, cites Hamlet

West Bengal Governor CV Anand Bose has said that he will not remain silent when the constitutional crisis arises in the state. In this context, he compared William Shakespeare's play 'Hamlet'.

Speaking at a function in Jodasanku Thakurbari on Monday, the Governor said, “I will not remain silent like Shakespeare's Hamlet when there is a legal or constitutional crisis in the state. Please let us know that differences have emerged from the Governor and Mamata government on many issues.

Governor CV Bose Anand Bose had already expressed concern about Jaya's law and order situation. This time again he made a thought-provoking comment on the same issue. Governor CV Anand Bose has warned that the state will not remain silent when there is a constitutional crisis. The Governor attended a function at Jorasanku Thakurbari on Monday. Speaking in the program, the governor gave an analogy of William Shakespeare's play 'Hamlet'. After coming to this state as Governor, there was a sign of 'harmony' between Nabanna and Raj Bhavan.

The Governor started writing in Bengali script through a handwritten ceremony at Raj Bhavan on Saraswati Puja. But later the dispute with the state government has increased. After the violence on Ramanavami in Hooghly, the Governor visited the affected areas and met the victims. Governor CV Anand has expressed deep affection for Bengali language and culture many times. However, sometimes the distance between Raj Bhavan and Nabanna increases. The reason behind this was the dispute between the state and the governor regarding the appointment of chancellors in the state universities.

On the other hand, Governor CV Anand Bose expressed grief over the accident in Tanjore, Kerala and expressed his condolences to the bereaved family, saying that the accident in Kerala is very painful.

Governor's disagreement with the state government on many issues

Recently a letter was sent from the Raj Bhavan asking for an account of the movements and financial transactions of the universities. Education Minister Bratya Basu expressed displeasure about this. Questions were also raised on the governor's visit to various universities. The education minister also questioned his role.

Apart from this, the bill to appoint the Chief Minister as the Acharya of all the universities of the state has been stuck in the Raj Bhavan for a long time. The state had sent a message to the governor a few days ago regarding its release. When asked about this, Governor Bose said that a decision will be taken in this matter at the appropriate time
