NCP leader Baba Siddique shot multiple times and dies in Mumbai Hospital
In a recent interview, Bollywood actor Govinda candidly revealed his admiration for co-star Madhuri Dixit, stating that they made the best on-screen pair.
His wife, Sunita Ahuja, supported his sentiment and acknowledged his fondness for Madhuri. However, Govinda also emphasized that his loyalty to his wife prevented him from pursuing any romantic interests.
Govinda crossed paths with Madhuri, who entered the industry with "Abodh" in 1984 and collaborated on movies such as "Paap Ka Ant" and "Izzatdaar," and Madhuri made a special appearance in Govinda's popular film "Bade Miyan Chote Miyan."
During a conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Govinda and Sunita were asked to name his best on-screen pairing, both promptly named Madhuri. Sunita affectionately remarked, "He loves Madhuri Ji." Govinda chimed in, "And Rekha Ji. They have had such long careers without any controversies. These women are so beautiful. Inner beauty never fades away. Just look at them; they look the same as the day they arrived. If it hadn't been for Sunita, I would have definitely flirted with Madhuri."
Govinda and Sunita tied the knot on March 11, 1987 when he was 24 years old, while Sunita was 18. In another interview with Bollywood Bubble, Govinda expressed his initial concerns about their age difference, fearing criticism and accusations. However, Sunita reassured him of her understanding and commitment, declaring her love for him.
The couple, blessed with two children, a son named Yashvardhan and a daughter named Tina, has shared a strong and enduring bond throughout their marriage. Meanwhile, Madhuri is happily married to Dr. Shriram Nene, with whom she has two sons.
