Disruption in metro services between Dumdum and Dakshineswar; normal services resume after 2 hours
Graffiti threatening Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was found at Rajiv Chowk and Patel Nagar metro stations, leading the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) to allege a conspiracy by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP.
AAP MP Sanjay Singh claimed the plot to attack Kejriwal was orchestrated within the Prime Minister's Office (PMO). “The BJP has been in a state of panic ever since Arvind Kejriwal came out of jail. The BJP is now plotting to launch a deadly attack on Arvind Kejriwal. This conspiracy is being conducted directly from the Prime Minister's Office. A threat of attack on Kejriwal ji has been written at Rajiv Chowk and Patel Nagar Metro stations,” Singh said.
Reports indicate that similar threatening messages were also found inside metro trains.
AAP leader Atishi alleged that the BJP is rattled by their anticipated defeat in Delhi's Lok Sabha elections. She further claimed that the BJP used Swati Maliwal to target Kejriwal and asserted that there is a genuine threat to his life. Atishi accused a man of scribbling the graffiti at Rajiv Chowk, Patel Chowk, and Patel Nagar stations.
