A wedding celebration took an unexpected turn when the groom's car caught fire near Dum Dum Park on VIP Road. The incident occurred as the adorned luxury car was crossing Airport Lane from Ultadanga. Quick action by traffic police on duty, along with assistance from local residents, helped contain the blaze. Fortunately, there are no reported casualties, and all four occupants in the vehicle emerged unharmed. The cause of the fire is suspected to be a mechanical failure.
Eyewitnesses describe the dramatic scene as onlookers noticed flames engulfing the car.
