Group of Ukrainian saboteurs take Russian civilians hostage, reports TASS

A group of Ukrainian saboteurs entered the territory of the Klimosvka region today. After the attack, at least six residents of the Brujan region may have been taken hostage by the Ukrainians.

Ukrainian saboteurs who infiltrated villages from Ukraine's Chernihiv region contributed to the attack, Russian news agency TASS reported. “Groups of Ukrainian saboteurs broke into two villages and took local residents' hostage in one of them. The fighters of the Russian National Guard entered into a firefight with the militants,” defense circles said.

The governor says saboteurs are shooting at a moving car

Informing about the entire incident, regional governor Alexander Bogomaz said: “Today, a subversive group infiltrated the territory of the village of Lyubechane in the Klimovsky District from Ukraine. The saboteurs shot at a moving car, killing one resident and injuring a ten-year-old child,” the governor said.

The child was immediately taken to a nearby hospital, where he is receiving treatment. “The Russian armed forces are taking all necessary measures to eliminate the subversive group,” the governor said.

“As a result of an explosive dropped from a drone, a residential house in the village of Sushany caught fire. Operational and emergency services are working on the spot,” said Bogomaz.

At first, Russian soldiers were unable to determine the exact number of saboteurs who had infiltrated. However, they estimated that these armed militants could be in the range of 2-3 dozen militants involved.
