A head-on collision occurred this morning on the AJC Bose flyover, leaving several people injured. The accident involved a Sumo vehicle heading towards Sector Five from PTS and another car that lost control and veered into oncoming traffic.
The high-speed collision caused significant damage to both vehicles, with the smaller car sustaining more severe damage, leading to the deployment of its front seat airbags.
The Sumo, carrying 9 to 10 employees of an information technology company, and the occupants of the other vehicle were all injured. Police promptly arrived at the scene, rescuing the injured and transporting them to the hospital.
Efforts are underway to remove the twisted vehicles from the flyover as the investigation into the cause of the accident continues.
