Headless body found on abandoned multi-storey building roof in Newtown Eco Park

In a disturbing discovery, the dead body of an unidentified individual was recovered from the rooftop of an abandoned multi-storey building in the Eco Park area.

The body, which had its head bowed, was found several days after the individual's demise, raising suspicions of foul play. Police from the Ecopark Police Station arrived at the scene promptly to initiate a thorough investigation into the matter.

The police were alerted to the presence of the body by local sources who reported a putrid odor emanating from the abandoned structure near the Yatra Gazizhi Bridge.

Upon reaching the rooftop, officers were met with the chilling sight of a young man lying face down. The authorities wasted no time in recovering the body, subsequently transporting it to Bidhan Nagar Mohkuma Hospital for further examination and forensic analysis.
