In response to the High Court's directives, the Bali Municipality has initiated the demolition of an illegal and contentious house located in Liluah. The High Court had issued the demolition order, and despite facing resistance from residents and non-compliance with court guidelines initially, the administration has now taken a decisive step forward.
The operation, involving a substantial police presence, evacuation of residents, and the actual demolition process, commenced this morning. Protests from the residents persist even as the administration proceeds with the court-mandated demolition.
