A house collapsed during ongoing construction work in Greater Noida, resulting in the untimely death of two sisters and injuries to four others. The unfortunate event unfolded in Samadhipur village within the Dadri police station area.
Lal Singh, resident of Samadhipur village of Dadri, was getting the repair work done when the roof of the house was very dilapidated. Meanwhile, his roof collapsed and his granddaughters Rewa (03), Riya (05) and four others, who were playing nearby, were buried.
The residents somehow managed to rescue the kids buried under the debris and rushed them to hospital, but the doctors declared them dead.
In addition to the fatalities, the collapse left four other individuals injured. Vinod, Rajveer, Sanjeev, and Pankaj, who were in the vicinity at the time of the incident, suffered injuries and were promptly taken to the hospital for medical attention.
